SCOTT F. FLAHERTY

Mr. Flaherty is a Shareholder and specializes in the area of government procurement and provides auditing, consulting, and tax services to government contractors.  He also delivers auditing and tax services, including single audits and reporting under OMB Circular A-133, to a variety of not-for-profit organizations.

Since joining R&M in 1993, Mr. Flaherty has worked with a wide range of clients, including both large and small government contractors.  He is primarily responsible for recurring client services, specifically the management of audit and consulting engagements.  In addition to traditional financial statement audit services, Mr. Flaherty performs audits of qualified pension plans, executes “agreed upon procedures” engagements, and provides government contracting consulting services.

Mr. Flaherty is a CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University.
