ROBERT J. HINZ

Mr. Hinz is a Shareholder and specializes in providing auditing and consulting services to government contractors, not-for-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans.

Since joining R&M in 1991, Mr. Hinz has focused on clients in the government procurement sector. He is primarily responsible for recurring client services, such as the management of audit and consulting engagements. Many of these engagements incorporate the specialized requirements of audits performed under OMB Circular A-133. Previous work experience included a position at a local accounting firm where he was responsible for supervising audits and preparing tax returns.

Mr. Hinz is a CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the National Contract Management Association. He also serves as the volunteer Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the Cold War Museum. Mr. Hinz received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland.
