AIMEE J. HOLLENHORST

Ms. Hollenhorst is a Senior Manager and provides auditing and consulting services to a variety of clients.  She is adept in engagement planning and audit analysis, compliance with laws and regulations, and internal control development and enhancement.  She has extensive experience with government contractors, not-for-profit organizations, and in coordinating engagements with multi-entity reporting requirements.  Ms. Hollenhorst has also served in interim Controller and Chief Financial Officer roles for not-for-profits and government contracting organizations.

Before joining R&M, Ms. Hollenhorst was an engagement principal for another local firm, she worked as an independent consultant to two European-based companies, and she was a senior accountant with the “Big Eight” firm of Deloitte & Touche.  Her expertise includes assisting in writing accounting policy and procedure manuals for international corporations, including identifying noncompliance with US GAAP and International Accounting Standards.  She also has consulted for European corporations in drafting and interpreting international contracts.

Ms. Hollenhorst is a CPA and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA), and the Greater Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She has served on the Peer Review Committee for the VSCPA.  In addition, Ms. Hollenhorst has served in various capacities on the Board of Directors for three public charities.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University.
